Christmas Eve – Oh my

Twas the night before Christmas and everybody came to the house. Wow all these big people showed up here and some small ones too.
Mommy and Daddy put out a spread and the people just kept coming.
I was smart and slept through the early festivities. Once I got up though I got showered with attention. Uncle Tony tried to keep me but..
Daddy came and got me for a bit. Uncle Tony survived though and got my cousin Mia instead.
Riley had tro sneak in too.
Finally I let Grandpa get a good picture of me (it was Christmas Eve).
Now with all this Daddy should be sending some Christmas morning shots. (Hint: Paper tatses good)

I made Grandpa work… Hard

Well Grandpa came down to see me and I was really glad to see him. I gave him my best 1000 watt smile when he came in. Then he got the camera.
Now it was time to make him work. Wasn’t gonna let the great big smile get on film.
Although I only added 3 here it took 10 to get my 50% smile. He never did get my good one on film.
As soon as my Daddy came home we all went out to get a Christmas Tree. Now Mommy made a big deal out of this but I just thought it was cold. Here is a picture right before they cut it down.
Finally they stuffed that tree into the back of the car and I had to share my space and I can tell you I was NOT happy.
Once we got home and played for a bit I had to give Grandpa his marching orders. Really need to keep him in shape. Maude says she needs help with that so I gladly pitch in.
Finally, all this work got to me and it was time to rest. Gee keeping these grownups in line is a hard job.
Just remember Maddie Rules!!!

What is with the old guy

Gee I thought Grandpa was old but Mommy took me to see this old guy all dressed in red. Really not sure what all the fuss is but I had to go sit on his lap. Mommy said so. I let her get away with it this time only because she was handling the pictures. (Lucky her.) As long as she doesn’t start thinking she is the boss we will still be okay.
I let her have more leeway as she feeds me and gets rid of the mess that always comes shortly afterward.

Glad this is over and not sure yet what all this Christmas fuss is. Hmm….
Wonder if this is good or bad? Guess time will tell.

Gave up on Daddy so Mommy handling the pics

Grandpa has been waiting for pics that Daddy was supposed to send to update this but he keeps claiming to be busy. Geez. Well, I gave up and asked Mommy. (Course you know I will make Daddy pay hehehe…. Wait til he wants to nap. I am getting louder.)
Well now that Grandpa has the pics there will be a lot on this post. (Yep Grandpa is teaching me that blog language stuff.)

Grandpa paid this time….

Well Grandpa finally showed up again. I had to make him pay though for not being around for a while.
Mommy told me he was coming in the afternoon so I skipped the morning nap. This allowed me to sleep through his vist. He did get a picture but not with my eyes open until he was almost ready to leave.
I was getting ready to go to Hershey Park with Mommy so I finally woke up. Not very happily though.
I did finally soften up and give him a smile when it was time to go. Want to make sure he comes back sooner next time. If not he will pay again and again. After all I rule and I will teach him and Daddy that. (Daddy is already figuring it out . but slowly)

Giving out marching orders

Well Grandpa stopped by today to see me. I actually let him see my lovely eyes today. While he was here he did some work on the computer for Daddy.
Good day today because I got to let them both get their marching orders.
First I gave Daddy his orders. He has been working a bit too much so I had to straighten him out. Course he wasn’t the only one.
Then it was Grandpa’s turn. Here I am straightening him out and making sure he gets my words on here much more regularly. (I was nice this time and did not spit on him but….).
After straightening out both of them it was time for me to take a rest. Keeping these men straight is hard work after all. (I know Mommy has told me )

Well he’s in trouble now

Grandpa has been asleep at the switch. He visited me almost two weeks ago and he hasn’t posted. I’ll have to straighten him out next time he comes down.
Yep I will save up and have a nice juicy burp for him as soon as he picks me up.
In the meantime I got to meet Mom Mom Pat and Barbara. They visited me on Saturday. They made Daddy really happy because she brought up some hoagies from Macaro’s. I didn’t get to try any but if Daddy’s response was any gauge I can’t wait til I can.
Even Aunt Liz came over. Now to get Grandpa on the stick and pull the pictures down off the camera (he keeps saying he’s busy but I rule so he better get on the stick).
Well I’ll let Grandpa go for now but he better get back here soon and I better see the pictures.

Not only do I have Grandpa doing this blog and writing my every whim I even have my Aunt Liz posting all the pics she took on her blog.
Golly I love this power over all these big people. I cry they jump. Could get used to this quickly.
Go ahead check out all the pics Aunt Liz posted. I look so good in them. (See they wanted to see my eyes but there was just no way that would happen. Who has control any way ?)

Hey World!!!!!!!! I have arrived.

Yep this is my blog and I arrived yesterday at 12:26 am. Weighed in at a svelte 8 lbs 5 oz and I am 19 1/2 inches long.
See I am the first grandchild on both sides of my extended family and already have everybody doing my bidding. (Didn’t take me long to twist them all around my fingers.)
I conned Grandpa (the big softy) to take care of posting my stuff for me. At a day old I am not quite up to the typing and may not be for a few years. Won’t matter though because I have all these lovely adults to do my every bidding.
If I knew I could have this much control I would have made my appearance sooner. Now I am leaving the hospital to see what the homestead looks like and to meet Crazy Buster and the cat, Bubba. (Buster was the baby but now he is just a dog I got that spot wrapped up.
Enough for one day Grandpa needs a break as he is old and bald and I will have to take it easy on him.
Now Daddy, that will be a different story. He doesn’t have a clue yet what he is in for.
