Finally Grandpa starts catching up

Well Grandpa has been a bit lax. Was down before Thanksgiving to crawl around on the floor with me and I was talking up a blue streak. Eating food (with her hands) and generally running Grandpa ragged.
Now if Grandpa could figure a way to bottle that energy he would be extremely rich 
I love my peas and have become quite a ham.
Catch me if you can Grandpa!
Every little thing gets my interest
Then Grandpa visited after Christmas when I had added two new words to my vocabulary - Santa and up
And he quickly learned that when I said up it meant NOW!!!
After all Maddie Rules!

Hmmm I like this birthday thing

Hey I just found out that every year I get this party thing for the day I was born. I really liked this. Daddy got a pig, invited a bunch of family and friends and we partied well.
Even the pig got into the party.
Then came the best part the cake.
I really liked eating the cake. Unfortunately I wore a bit too much so….
So I had to go take a bath to remove the excess. Grrrrrrrr……
But then the good things came again as ….
It was just like Christmas again. I liked Christmas and I really liked this birthday thing too.
Will have to do this again and I will as Maddie Rules!!!!

Grandpa finally showed up - About time Grandpa

Well it has been a while since I have seen Grandpa but he showed up yesterday camera in hand. Of course I first had to do a bit of the shy thing to punish him. But I finally relented and we had a good day.
Slowly I approached him. (Gotta keep him curious and make sure he comes by more often;) )
Finally I gave him a grin (to let him know I know have choppers 3 up and 3 down)
I gave him my best Pleasssssseeeee face to see if it works on him (It does he is a softy)
I went through some of my repertoire (can’t let him see them all then there would be no reason to come back )
I did give him just a hint of how fast I can maneuver and find things (not trouble of course)
Then Grandpa and I got to play on the deck while Mommy and Daddy were working on the back yard. (Seems there is a party there this Saturday. Wonder what that’s about? Me of course)
Daddy was working on cleaning the pool so of course I had to get my feet wet. but…
That wasn’t enough for me and as Maddie Rules (we all should know that by now) I got to do a bit of swimming too.
More pics after the party on Saturday. Grandpa says he wants a picture of me in all cake. We shall see.

First time at the beach

Mommy got the pictures up so Grandpa can get em up here.
I loved the beach and the sand tasted yummy.
Here I am with Mommy and Daddy.
Nap time I got into my cocoon so the horse flies couldn’t get me.
Playing in the sand was my favorite part.
The sand really tasted good and over the week I ate my share.
Playing in the sand made me thirsty. (Oh Mommy said it made me dirty too)
Can’t tell you what I am thinking or I would get in trouble
They tried this to keep me clean but it was more fun in the sand.
The shade was nice as long as I could play in the sand.
At night we would run on the boardwalk where there was lots of good things to see and more importantly to eat.
Think this shore thing and the beach is somewhere I want to go again and again and again.
Remember that Maddie Rules so I am sure we will get to go again.

Maddie had some guests

Yesterday was the dedication and there were a lot of people here to see me. (Yep it is all about me.)
This was me and Grandpa.

Here are my cousin’s hiding inside. Did not want to share the attention with them
Boy the crowd sure did a number on the food.
Here is me with lots more people.
Even more people. Daddy cooked so everyone was well fed.
Ummmm. I got some cupcake from my Grandma.
I even got presents to open. Aunt Liz helped me and kept me from eating the paper. BAD Aunt Liz.
As you can see everyone had a good time and remember - Maddie ROCKS!!

Grandpa is in deep doo doo

Yep Grandpa says he has bust but I think it is old age. I went up for a visit quite a while ago and just now did he unload the camera.
See that one is two months old when I helped him open his Christmas preent.
Yep another one from February. Gee Grandpa you really are behind.
Now we are getting closer. That is Daddy and me when we snuck up to visit Grandpa because he hadn’t been down fro a while.
This is Maude and I but someone came in and he was interesting to me. Another little person instead of more big people.
That is what I was looking at my new friend Gavin. Don’t tell Mom though, Daddy will be in the dog house with Buster.
Grandpa you are in big trouble so you better get to see me soon.

Grandpa has been slacking…

Well I guess it is time to get on Grandpa when he comes down next.
Yep he was down, Mom sent him the pics from Mom Mom Pat’s where I got to meet some other little ones and two weeks later there is nothing here. Yep, he will pay next time. Big time.
So I finally got him working so here is what happened in New Jersey.

Here is me with my Aunt Maureen and Russ.
Yep I was eating. I am good at that then I leave Daddy a present.
Then we went to Mom Mom Pat’s and found a whole bunch of people and some were almost my size.
Yep there were a whole bunch of great grand kids visiting. I got to meet all of my cousins. I liked Josh he was holding me.
I even got a kiss from Jeremy while my Aunt Melissa held me.
Finally the only pic with Mom Mom Pat was in the dining room which was like a zoo. She was helping Jeremy while everyone was playing.
Well Grandpa better get busy and get his pictures up here soon or he will be in real trouble. I’ll tell Mommy to let me give him a present like I do Daddy shortly after I eat.

Christmas…. Hmmmm

Well Daddy will be paying because here it is a month later and he just got Grandpa the pictures from Christmas. Good thing I’ll be teething soon and then he will pay for this delay.
Well at least he did finally get them and Grandpa got them up. This Christmas thing was different. First the night before everybody was over to visit at our house and the just had to get a picture of me with my cousins.
Course I was ready to be held some more
Then to documemnt this day here is what was there the night before.
But then when I got up there was all this stuff.
Even had these stocking things there.
Can you guess which one is Daddy’s?
Then I got to open some of the presents.
This is really fun can we do this again real soon.
That paper sure tastes good.
They wanted me to play with these things.
Any more of that paper. I really like ripping, tearing and eating. mmmmmmmmm

Christmas Eve - Oh my

Twas the night before Christmas and everybody came to the house. Wow all these big people showed up here and some small ones too.
Mommy and Daddy put out a spread and the people just kept coming.
I was smart and slept through the early festivities. Once I got up though I got showered with attention. Uncle Tony tried to keep me but..
Daddy came and got me for a bit. Uncle Tony survived though and got my cousin Mia instead.
Riley had tro sneak in too.
Finally I let Grandpa get a good picture of me (it was Christmas Eve).
Now with all this Daddy should be sending some Christmas morning shots. (Hint: Paper tatses good)
